## Procedure

• Click C-Lever Worksheet – this must be submitted along with the drawing
• You will need to both draw the C-Lever along with dimensions and answer the questions on the worksheet.
• Follow the tutorial below to determine the methods to answer the worksheet questions.
• When completed print out both the drawing and this sheet and hand them in stapled together.

Begin the drawing with the center of Circle A at 7.000, 3.375

You need to change the drawing units precision to the needed accuracy.

• The worksheet shows answers accurate to 4 decimal places therefore you need to change the precision to 0.0000
• To change precision go to the Application icon pull-down menu, select Drawing Utilities and select Units.

2. The total distance from the center of circle (A) to the center of circle (B) is?

• Command: Dist
• Select the center of (A) then (B)

3. The angle formed in the X-Y plane from the center of circle (C) to the center of circle (B) is?

• Command: Dist
• Select the center of (C) then the center of (B)
• See the X-Y plane

4. The delta X-Y distance from the center of circle (C) to the center of circle (A) is?

• Command: Dist
• Select the center of (C) then the center of (A)
• See Delta X= ____ Delta Y= ____   Delta Z= 0.0000

5. The absolute coordinate value of the center of arc (D) is?

• Command: ID
• Select the center of (D)
• See X= ____  Y= ____  Z= 0.0000
• If you didn’t begin the drawing with the center of Circle A at 7.000, 3.375 then you will need to move it there.

6. The total length of line (E) is?

• Command: Dist
• Select each endpoint of line (E)

7. The total length of arc (F) is?

• Command: Explode
• Select the polyline to break up again to its individual parts.
• Command: Pedit
• Select the arc (F) and right-click to say “Y”es to changing it to a polyline.
• Command: List
• Select the arc (F)
